Most people may think that buying discount diamond rings means low quality diamonds and that is not true. Though diamonds come in all grade quality yet within each grade there is wide range of diamond prices and to get the best possible quality is the key.
Buying diamond jewelry at cheap prices not necessarily compromising on quality. Each jeweler has its own sources to procure at prices they guess is the best for them to pay for the type of diamonds and accordingly resell them to their customers keeping small to high margins. Large jewelers may have advantage to buy in large quantity at the price that is very fair and right but their overhead operating costs may well be high to offset the price advantage. Small jewelers on the other hand in order to maintain loyalty and integrity may often offer diamond rings at much competitive prices. Shopping and comparing for all kind of quality and prices is helpful.
The diamonds are set in order of color within an angled slot so that one can observe the color of these diamonds by looking through the body of the diamonds. When purchasing discount diamond rings, one should always look at the clarity of diamonds set in any ring. All jewelers keep the magnifying loupe to examine the clarity of diamonds and be sure to view the inclusions under the loupe or preferably in the microscope to evaluate.
All diamonds have some sort of inclusions in them. Should a diamond for example be clarity graded as SI-2 have the jeweler explain to you precisely why it is SI-2. One should try to understand and know the nature, extent and location of the inclusions present in the diamond.
