Hawaii Weddings: So Much To Consider!
Todays couples are searching for alternatives to the traditional wedding ceremony. Hawaii has become a popular destination for people who want to renew their vows or to have there initial wedding be unique. Hawaii continues to be a popular place for honeymoons and romance.
Picking the perfect spot for a Hawaii wedding can be a challenge. Some couples feel that a quiet, out of the way locations is for them while others seek the popular resort locations. An out-of-the-main-stream wedding can also create a higher price tag requiring more logistical planning for the couple and their guest. A Hawaii resort location can have the benefits of less preparation especially when they specialize in Hawaii wedding packages, but you have to sacrifice the privacy of the remote location.
Kauai wedding packages are one of the hottest things for couples these days. Kauai, with its central mountains, grand waterfalls, and scenic beaches is particularly beautiful. The only downside to this marvelous destination is that airlines don’t fly directly to Kauai. You’ll need to take an inter-island flight, usually from Honolulu, to get to Kauai.
A Hawaii wedding is often times more relaxed then others, since they are held in a pure, natural setting instead of a church. Brides typically wear lighter dresses, sometimes shorter in length. Grooms often wear khaki pants with a Hawaiian shirt. Both may wear simple sandals or even go barefoot depending on preference. Flowers are readily available, with many tropical color schemes to choose from. The officiant is normally a non-denominational professional, rather then a priest, minister, or pastor who are associated with a specific church.
A Hawaiian beach wedding is definitely pretty, but the reception at a Hawaii resort is one of a kind. Many recently-weds transform their reception into a traditional Hawaiian luau, which mainly features roasted pigs and traditional hula dancers. Music in a luau does not matter - solos from ukuleles, guitars, harps, string instruments: everything is welcome. As well, having the event on the beach allows for romantic bond fires and dances.
